GAMING SUCCESS CASE: DISNEY
THE CHALLENGE
Drive Awareness for the new Disney programme, with generating a high unique reach and high completion rate. Addition traffic to the landings page.
THE STRATEGY
In this campaign, the focus was on branding, which is why we deployed the largest part of the budget on the In-game environment. With In-game advertising, the ad is blended into the Gameplay.
Additionally, we added Around game advertising, in which the ad is not shown in the Gameplay, but around it. This format is great in driving further consideration with high engagement rates.
THE RESULTS
The campaign has been successful in terms of achieving key KPIs such as a high VTR of 85.12% and good engagement with in-game ads. We have been able to maximize the Unique Reach of the campaign by keeping the Frequency relatively low conform the standards of Disney. In particular within the in-game ads with a Unique Reach of over 400k Unique Users.. The around-game ads achieved a reasonable CTR of 0.23%, which was above the promised average but could have been higher – please see next slide for further recommendations.
